Many thanks for an incisive and well expressed analysis of Bell's 
book as far as you have got so far.  It certainly sounds congruent 
with what I have read of feminist analysis of power relations, and 
possibly provides some ways of challenging the pathology 
interpretations of incest.  Does Bell go on to suggest ways of 
combating incest or is it considered inherent in prevailing 
socialisation patterns?
