Bernauer argues that the atomic bomb completed the circle of bio-power
because the terrifying invention of humanism finally returned to plague the
inventor. I think Foucault MIGHT be getting at this when he says that the
taking of human life as a political object put humankind's existence in
question.
For post-structuralist analyses of privacy, it really depends on the type of
privacy you're dealing with. Please discuss this with me privately.
