Apart from the comment made about Chris Brown not being a post-modernist
(which is absolutley right, he would be rather amused by the suggestion),
there are real doubts and questions as to the extent to which Ashley, Walker
and Der Derian are actually fighting realism or propounding a more
sophisticated linguistic form of it. (look at Ashleys piece on neorealism,
for example).
My apologies to anyone on this list not interested in International
relations and/or politics. Although on reflection, isn't everyone?
