Re: Catherine Camus interview

This post, along with the earlier discussion on agency, has me thinking
about what Foucault thought about "The Outsider" by Alber Camus. I know
that Foucault wrote on Maurice Blanchot:The Thought from Outside but I'm
not aware of anything Foucault may have written on "The Outsider".

Any thoughts?

Perhaps the following quote from Camus regarding the chapter about
Meursault and the chaplain, may attract some further discussion about
agency and the construction of self (or even the role of the confession):

"In this chapter as in the rest of the book he restricts himself to
*replying to questions*. Previously, the questions were those which the
world asks us every day - now, they are those that the chaplain asks
him. Thus I define my character negatively."

Albert Camus, in Thody's selected essays and notebooks, p.209
