Re: Misunderstanding of Foucault?

I'd agree with Matthew about the problems with the term and its multiple
uses. I don't consider it a term that has much practical or analytic
value either - it's not a concept that extends much of an insight

The most valuable discussion of the term for my money is Lyotards, in
the first chapter of "The Postmodern explained to children", where he
rejects the temporal understanding of the 'post-', and locates it as
part of the movement of the modern.
