Re: Governmentality/State Theory

Several interesting points, but I guess where I stand on them is already
pretty clear from my mail on police. For those of you that are interested, I
can recommend Mark Neocleous, Administering Civil Society: Toward A Theory
of State Power, Macmillan/St Martins, 1996.

This looks at Hegel, Marx and Foucault and then applies the insights
gathered to British state development between 1815 and 1932.
