Amerika cannot destroy it because she dare not use it.

One bright winter day in Berkeley, John Thomson crayoned on a piece of
cardboard "FUCK WAR," sat down with it and was arrested within two minutes.

Movement ended our virginity--we challenged outside society and the cops
came on campus to get us. But once they left, everybody went back to playing
with himself.

university fucking resigned. He said the fucking future of the whole
motherfucking university was at stake. Fuck him, he's a fucking asshole. He
said that if FUCK wasn't fucking banished from the minds and mouths of the
fucking students, then things were gonna get pretty fucked up.
But most political radicals got uptight and wouldn't defend FUCK.
Activists in the Free Speech Movement ostracized the FUCK-heads---they said
FUCK wasn't "serious"! They got a sudden pure speech fetish.
Things did get fucked-up. In a unity move, Clark Kerr came back and
fucked the fuck students. They were expelled from the university and given
jail terms. Few politicos gave a fuck.
The Free Speech Movement was raped in the same bed with the Filthy
Speech Movement. The movement was badly divided. It was an early sign of the
split between political radicals and the hippie/yippies.
How can you separate politics from sex? It's all the same thing: Body
Politic.
POLITICO-SEXUAL REALITY: The naked human body is immoral under Christianity
and illegal under Amerikan law. Nudity is called "indecent exposure." Fuck
is a dirty word because you have to be naked to do it. Also it's fun.
When we start playing with our "private parts," our parents say,
"Don't do that." The mother commits a crime against her child when she says
"Don't do that."
We're taught that our shit stinks. We're taught to be ashamed of how

should feel guilty.
We're taught: body pleasure is immoral!
We're really taught to hate ourselves!
Puritanism leads us to Vietnam. Sexual insecurity results in a
supermasculinity trip called imperialism. Amerikan foreign policy especially
in Vietnam, makes no sense except sexually. Amerika has a frustrated penis,
trying to drive itself into Vietnam's tiny slit to prove it is The Man.
The revolution declares war on Original Sin, the dictatorship of
parents over their kids, Christian morality, capitalism and supermasculinity
trips.
The yippie political strategy is to ally with Billy Graham. Keep the
word "fuck" dirty! At the same time we yippies fight for the right to say
fuck whenever we want to. It's a contradiction--but in contradictions like
this lie the genius of making a revolution.
Our tactic is to send niggers and longhair scum invading white
middle-class homes, fucking on the living room floor, crashing on the
chandeliers, spewing sperm on the Jesus pictures, breaking the furniture and
smashing Sunday school napalm-blood Amerika forever.
We will do whatever is forbidden.
We will outrage Amerika until the bourgeoisie dies of apoplexy.
