It's more like reinscribing critical theory in a discourse of liberal
politics, particularly in the way Rorty chooses to use the terms once he's
defined them as such. It's all very simple to describe things in such ways
but it doesn't take long before principles are conflated and "effective
action" (which is, coincidentally, never defined) becomes the presumed
standard for action.
