A few members of the list are in or close to Montreal, if I'm not mistaken. What
should be a great conference/symposium at Concordia... the Hall Building is on
the downtown campus.

Dr. Rose is Professor of Sociology and Convenor of the Department of Sociology
at the London School of Economics (LSE) as well as Director of the Centre for
the Study of Bioscience, Biomedicine, Biotechnology and Society at LSE. He is
the managing editor of Economy and Society, a leading interdisciplinary journal
in Britain, and has edited, with Paul Rabinow, the Fourth Volume of Michel
Foucault?s Essential Works. Dr. Rose is a widely published scholar of
international renown. His work has been translated into Swedish, Finnish,
German, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. His current work focuses on
the social, ethical, cultural and legal implications of biological and genetic
psychiatry and behavioural neuroscience.
