To all,
I just got on the list after a lot of mistakes so, here it is.
I'm a grad student at Memorial University of Newfoundland in the
Maters of Philosophy in the Humanities programme out here on the Rock. I
did my undergrad work at the University of Ottawa in the Classics dept
and my main interest was in the languages (Greek and Latin) and
Presocratic and Platonic thought.
I got into Foucault via my brother and it seems to me that he and
his method are one of the hopes for the future of progressive
intellectual inquiry. The more I read the more I like. At present I am
reading Foucault et ses contemporaines. Send me any thoughts on the book.
