Re: foucault and environmental policy

Thanks for whoever it was that posted the info about FOUCAULT LIVE (1996).
I ordered my copy yesterday (and in so doing informed the FSU bookstore that
a new and improved edition existed!)

Does anybody know any way to utilize this internet technology so that we
have some sort of virtual, group chat, instead of one-way posts? I think
that the current format of this list runs the danger of reifying the
technocratic structures of domination that we are obviously trying to
subvert otherwise we wouldn't be on this list-serve, n'est-ce pas?

What do people think of Richard Rorty's comment that there is no "we", i.e.
no "social" no "solidarity" in Foucault?

ps I don't think Foucault would like the paperback version of his THE ORDER
OF THINGS. The book itself is tiny, and the font is way too small. I'd
recommend picking up the first edition hardback from the library.
