As part of my graduate student work in sociology at the new school for
social research in NY, I am charged with the responsibility of researching
possible connections between Foucault and ethnographic research. One of
the faculty who I work with is researching NY sex clubs/communities, and
has sent me out to explore possible theoretical connections with Foucault's
writings, either directly on the question of sexuality, or more general
epistemological questions relating to ethnographic research.
