Greetings,
I am a Ph.D. student at Stockholm University writing a thesis on Thomas
Hobbes. I have finally been able to procure a copy of The Order of Things,
and I find Foucault's description of the classical episteme very useful in
understanding Hobbes's thought.
However, I have been informed that Foucault has been severely criticized
for his description of the epoch. Could anyone please help direct me to
some important replies to this part of Foucault's thesis?
Thank you,
Niklas Olaison
