I love your question, but I can't answer it without piling on top of
it another which may initially seem flippant given its origin. I have
been told (embarrassingly, in a barroom argument) that F. wrote a
paper on E. Durkheim. So, first, does such a thing exist? Second, I
would suggest that if it does it may prove helpful to you for reasons
which would appear given your training to be obvious.
If anybody knows of anything F. wrote on Durkheim I am passionately
interested in hearing about it.
