which originally appeared in Le Gai Pied and is collected in _Foucault
Live_. And in the interview "An Ethics of Pleasure" (as it is titled in
FL; I think it may have a different English title elsewhere), he mentions
that we do not have a "suicide culture" while the Japanese do, and he
talks a bit about the connection between death and pleasure.
