I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but there is an excellent
study of indigenous resistance in the XVI century Mexico. The responsible of
this is a seminar called "Historia de las Mentalidades", fully in Spanish,
and you can search for the books in CIESAS, a center for studies in
anthropology.
