In the preface to Folie et déraison, Foucault talks of producing a history
of limits, of interrogating a culture with regard to its limit-experience.
In his later writings, he talks of a limit-attitude.
What, if any, is the relationship between a limit-experience and a
limit-attitude? Is, for example, the later the critical aspect of the
former; or is it a development of the former?
