[Foucault-L] Foucault outside France

Im not sure if im following the thread correctly. But i thought id mention Foucault's experience in Tunisia if we are speaking of his interaction/conversations with individuals from other cultures. Foucault relates how he was profoundly inspired by a student uprising in Tunisia in March of 1968. He informs us, "That's what Tunisia was for me: i was compelled to join the political debate. It wasn't May '68 in France but March '68 , in a country of the third world."

"What good is a book that does not even carry us beyond all books?"
Nietzsche, 'The Gay Science'.
