He also engaged in dialogue with people like Shugi Terayama the Japanese
avant-garde theatre director (''Le savoir comme crime', 1976), lectured in Japan,
lectured in Brazil and spoke with people there. There is also North Africa, an
early article on African art ('Veilleur de la nuit des hommes' 1963), there are the
influences on Foucault's work of eighteenth century English gothic novelists.
There are also Eastern European references plus Iran. In short lots of stuff.
