California-Irvine, there are the recorded transcripts of about 40-50
seminar courses that Derrida delivered during his lifetime. These
seminars were where he rigorously worked out his concepts that he
merely tossed out in the late shorter writings.
Apparently, in light of the success of the Foucault lectures, the
University of Chicago press is commencing the complete
English-language series of these courses, contemporaneous with the
French releases. It starts this November, with the release of "The
Beast and the Sovereign part 1, 2001-2002". For more information:
