On the matter of translation that you raised, I have to offer
simply that the text is of an interview. F's language abilities were,
like most French people of his generation, notoriously bad. I would be
very shocked to learn that the interview was given in any language other
than his native Gaulois. Therefore, the text that I posted should be
"most authentic" (i.e. in keeping with the man's own words) even if the
first publication of it was in Italien. That publication was merely
itself a translation.
