Though I think Nicholas' retorts are just jibes without any substance
hiding the fact that he has no appropriate response and is probably in the
wrong neck of the woods does not mean civility is out of hand. This sort
of response only angers people and will prevent any possibility of mutual
understanding, if there were such a possibility in the first place.

But to more important matters, Nicholas don't you have any better responses
than the ones you gave?!? Really, unions are that bad? My brother works
for a uniopn and I don't know of anyone who works harder in any occupation.
Uniions can be corrupted alos, but pointing to the corruption of a union
or the system of unionized work does nothing to further your end. Why?
Simple, unions are a captialist tool to undermine worker solidarity. They
may embody some socialist beleifs, but they are corrupted and transofrmed
into playthings by the capitalist system of which they are a part.
