the power/knowledge relationship is ubiquitous. all knowledge succumbs to
power. i don't think foucault allows for any objective positions outside of
power. there is one problem i have been pondering, though. if it is true that
none can escape the "power" of power and even academics are stuck in the
"web," where does this leave foucault himself? are his writings and theories
subject to this same power web, and if so, how can he (or we) be sure his
position is not just the power structure creating his knowledge?
