Doesn't "pyrrhic victory" simply mean that the "aggressor" has been prevented
from accomplishing hir goal, even though at a tremendous cost to the
"aggressed"? So then in order to judge something as a pyrrhic victory
one has to have a clear idea of the aggressor's purpose, and whether or not
it was accomplished. In other situations, not surprisingly, the concept is
muddled.
