Thanks again for your help - actually I was thinking of Anthony Giddens =
in The Transformation of Intimacy who believes that many of the =
recent(ish) changes in the way people conduct their personal =
relationships have the potential to have a more widespread =
'democratising' influence. I personally disagree with almost every word =
he says on the subject, but he's still an interesting read, and his =
enthusiasm for his subject is infectious, even if I don't find his ideas =
so convincing! =20
