First let me say that we have to love everyone, despite how different they
are to us. Having said this, I explain:
Canada's lax immigration policies, impotent security forces, remote and
largely uninhabitted space, and excessive freedom of rights are exploited by
terrorist organisations. This has been the case for years. It is the
downside to multiculturalism - while most people are loving and peaceful,
some take advantage of this freedom. The greatest tragedy is that Canadian
social security services indirectly finances many of the activites. To
compound this further, the prime minister wants votes and knows where they
come from.
Our challenge is to continue loving those different to us. Please be
tolerant of people who look different and pray ways alternate to your own.
Accept that the world is far different that what it is like in the western
world - especially the USA. Most people in the world live amongst their own
bodily waste and routinely see their loved ones die in many awful ways.
What happened in NYC was awful and the current state of affairs is awful,
but it pales in comparison to what 78 percent of humans deal with.
I am sad, horrified and sickened by what happened, but if you put it all
into perspective it should make us all care more about how we live with our
neighbours next door and across the world.
