Love everyone ... don't look for scapegoats

Ask the RCMP. ... but ... They - like Bush said on the CNN today - will not
tell you because that would reveil their intelligence capabilities. Anyway,
I would not worry your students with these activities; it would just give
them nightmares.

It happens, just like various western governments send around 'secret
agents' to 'sort people out'. It happens. It just never happened in the
middle of Manhattan before.

We all lived in a bubble until S11. Reality burst into the bubble and now
everyone is scared. The world remains the same it is our perceptions that
are different.

Social welfare states are great in the bubble, but when it bursts, all the
truth surfaces. If you want to start looking for scapegoats confront the
western voters who insist on human rights and the right to consume a GROSSLY
disproportionate amount of natural resources.

Just continue loving everyone and ignore the event. I know it is hard ...
it makes me miserable, sad, hurt and uncomfortable. People are all humans,
even the people who orchestrate and carry out terrorism.

If we learn anything from Foucault we must learn that we need to stamp out
human misery - and that is the root cause of what happened on S11. Try
teaching your students that.
