Dear friends, I write to you from India. It is a sad time for all of us. But
what worries people in the third world is the ignorance that the first world
harbours. Just a few points to ponder:
1. Terrorism thrives on counter attacks as it legitimises their viewpoint of
suppression and oppression
2. The largest no. of non-American people dead in WTC are Indians (roughly
about 500) and they are facing terror on account of mistaken identities as
one community (Sikh) bears resembelance to Laden. The media is not doing
enough to highlight this factor. Do not hound innocent people even if and
especially if they are Arabs.
All those people who think and feel should not allow the powers to act in
the perpetuation of senseless Terror.
