I find the questions you are proposing very interesting. I work as a
counselor on the field of alcohol and other drugs recovery. My interest in
Foucault began, while starting a graduation course in Philosophy, exactly
because in the issue of drug abuse, or misuse, there is a great deal of
"truth" that is "created". In my work experience, I had to face chalenging
questionings to the theoretical fundamentation of our aproach to alcohol and
other drugs addiction, and, of course, face the day-by-day conflict with
psichiatrists.
But I haven´t yet thought about the issue of methodology. I´m doing a
personal research to produce some sort of paper or text about my work and
the experiences with it. So, it would be very wellcome and enriching to
discuss the issues you propose, and I´ll give some thought to it.
