[Foucault-L] To Diego: Foucault and literature

To Diego,

I would like to recommend you first Eribon's biography on Foucault entitled
"Michel Foucault (1926-1984)". In that book you will find a detailed section
about Foucault's Uppsala years, his lectures in french literature, etc.
Also, you must look to Eribon's "Michel Foucault et ses contemporains"
inwhich you will find many different anecdotes on Foucault-Dumézil (Uppsala
years) and Foucault-Barthes on literature.
Besides that, "Dits et ecrits" may provide a good source of articles and
interviews on literature and art (Blanchot, Bataille, Magritte, Roussel...).

Bon courage,
Can Batukan
Istanbul.

relation btw aesthetics and theory of history. I worked on Louis Althusser's
criticism on Hegel. Now I am involved in Michel Foucault's writings on art
and literature.

indication about documents on the period that he spent in Uppsala. I would
like to ask if you know some explicit reference to Robert Musil in
Foucault's work. Thanks
