Re: Foucault in French (fwd)

I am forwarding this message as I believe it was meant for the list as
a whole. With regards to the question of the imperialism of the
English language, perhaps my fellow Canadian (Alexandre Brassard) and
I have a somewhat "raw" opinion due to the ongoing political struggle
of the French Canadians. This question is incessantly deferred and
derailed and I find myself constantly at odds with my fellow "maudits
anglais." Mais je suis d'accord avec Dr. Pujol, ce n'est pas une
question linguistique - the power structure itself has created its own
"nemesis" which it needs to survive.
