Re: History of Sexuality

Since I have to (re)read History of Sexuality Part One anyway and since I
failed in convincing my academic friends to read it with me, I am very much
interested in a close reading together with you "list-people". As long as we
can agree on reading the English translation, I'm in (if you don't mind me
reading the German version at the same time).

As far as I understood it, we start with We Victorians. Since no one
mentioned a specific topic she or he is interested in, I presume we read the
text in order to "understand" it, whatever that means, and we focus on
specific topics as we go along.

You might as well know that my specific interest in the book is foucault's
concept of the body. Is there someone who shares this interest?

I am looking forward to working with you.
