The Future of Cultural Memory



This conference will address issues at the intersection of cultural/literary study, political philosophy, and international relations. Possible topics include: the politics of history and memory, transitions to and from democracy, the public sphere, culture of/and globalization, Third World feminism, postcolonial legacies, narrative and identity, literature/culture and practical reason, cosmopolitanism, culture and citizenship.

Completed papers by October 1, 2001
Papers should be no longer than twenty minutes
