Re: actualité

I have a strong feeling that "actualité" is indeed a central concept in
Foucault's work. Of course, in french, it means "news", and "the
present"or "what's going on". It's too in relation with actual/inactual
(Nietzsche), and with virtual/actual (Bergson/Deleuze). But it
definitvely has something to do do with the couple telling
(dire)/acting(faire). Actualité is what is being acted now, related with
an epistèmé, a type of governementality, a mode of subjectivation. Or I
guess so.
