There's quite a bit written on Foucault and Education--you may want to review the 1981-1982 lectures where Foucault discusses specifically the role of pedagogy --you may also look at Baker and Heyning's book "Dangerous Coagulations"--Stephen Ball's book "Foucault and Education"--and Thomas Popkewitz and Marie Brennan "Foucault's Challenge"--
