I am currently a PhD student in London interested in Foucault and Weber and
how we might conceive of Foucault as a kind of "radical Weberian". My
studies are attempting to tackle this idea by applying both theorists' ideas
to the workings of power and discipline in political organisation,
suggesting how their respective work may enrich one another and how they can
be of practical use to the analysis of modern political behaviour.
