I do recommend. I am studying the "parresia" and in this course Foucault
talks about it as he did in "L'herméneutique du sujet". There are some
repetitions, but this is part of Foucault' style, I think. It's worthy, as I
said, at least for those two first lectures where Foucaul re-read Kant's
"Was ist Aufklärung?".

developed in a text about the same subject some years ago. He reads Kant as
beginner of the modern philosophy, that is the philosophy as a critique of
the present (une ontologie du présent).
Kant's text is important to what Foucault will develop afterwards because
"le gouvernment de soi et des autres" goes together this critical attitude
initiated by Kant. To have a public space where the critique is possible is
one of the conditions for these "governenments".
