Re: [Foucault-L] Louvain Lectures

an update - see also this site (http://www.uclouvain.be/349509.html) which reports on some lectures by Harcourt on these lectures and gives a bit of background; and this piece from Foucault Studies (http://rauli.cbs.dk/index.php/foucault-studies/article/viewFile/3126/3297) on the Foucault archives at Berkeley which has a transcript. That last piece, by Alain Beaulieu notes that a bit of these lectures that was published elsewhere in the 'Sexuality and Solitude' piece

I've consolidated all this info as a blog post here - http://progressivegeographies.wordpress.com/2011/02/23/mai-faire-dire-vrai/ I'll post any other info I find or receive there.

That's simply an interview as part of the visit; not the mini course.

Foucault gave six lectures at that time entitled "Mai faire, dire vrai". >From the biographies they were on confession. I suspect they are close to material he used in his De Gouvernement des Vivants College de France course - not yet out in French.

This site (http://www.law.uchicago.edu/faculty/harcourt <http://www.law.uchicago.edu/faculty/harcourt> ) suggests they are coming out in both French and English
