are you refering to 'The Lives of Infamous Men', which was an introduction
to a collection (of the same name) on the use of lettre de cachet in
XIIIthC France? The full volume was supposed to appear in the Gallimard
series, 'Le Chemin'; it never did. The introductory essay was published
originally in French in _Cahiers du chemin_ 29, January 1977, p. 12-29.
The other bits and pieces by Foucault in the Patton/Morris text are
interviews or notes from lectures.
