Hi,
Recently, I came across a note in Foucault's This is Not a Pipe (1981)
(Page, 59; ISBN: 0520236947, translated by James Harkness) where the
translator highlights general inaccuracies in translating Foucault and as an
example it is mentioned that Robert Hurley omitted all references to Alice
in Wonderland in his transaltion of History of Sexuality Vol 1! Would it be
possible to comment on how much of the contents are intact and the
availability of an accurate translation of History of Sexuality of English
language version?
Any other related comments on original french text compared to english
translations?
Regards,
