Re: [Foucault-L] Japanese editions

Hi Hiroko

I don't think you will find stores that keep this kind of material in Japanese outside of Japan. The reason being that only Japanese people would be capable of reading Japanese at that level, and I'm sure that everyone has to get out their electronic kanji dictionary many times to do so.

You probably have two options:

1. Have them sent from Japan
2. Learn French or English

The French editions can be easily purchased via Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.fr. The English editions would be all over NYC. Otherwise you will most likely have to either pay the very high postage from companies like Amazon.co.jp, or have them sent to your sister and sent on.

You can pay on Amazon.co.jp in US$, but that might only work if you are actually shipping them to the USA. Otherwise you would have to pay in yen and be charged the conversion fee on your credit card.

Best wishes
David
